Family Lives: 6-week online support programme

Our 6-week online programmes provide support, information and resources to parents/carers and adult family members so they can help their child reach their full potential. Our courses include: Bringing Up Confident ADHD/ASD Children, Dads Together, Getting on with Your Pre Teen/Teenager, Less Shouting More Co-operation and Sorting Out Family Arguments.

Our online sessions are available during term time only and are offered on rotation. They include:

  • Bringing Up Confident ADHD/ASD Children. Parents will gain a comprehensive understanding of ADHD/ASD and learn strategies to improve life at home and at school.
  • Less Shouting More Cooperation. Learn how you can change the way you communicate with your child, respond better and feel more in control.
  • Getting on with you Pre-Teen/Teenager. Learn how parents can best emotionally support their teen and feel confident and prepared for whatever challenges might arise.
  • Sorting out Family Arguments. Help improve family communication, reduce the reactions which lead to arguments and create a culture of teamwork in your family.
  • Dads Together. Dads will learn how you can change the way you communicate with your child, respond better and feel more in control.

Who can use this service?

Any parents/carers or adult family members of children living in Hertfordshire. Including teenagers, pre-teens and children with ADHD/ASD.
