Herts3Cycle

HERTS3CYCLE is an exciting community-based cycling project across Hertford and Ware in Hertfordshire. The project allows eligible residents to apply for a new FREE quality checked bicycle, with the aim of making cycling accessible for everyone.

Further info

The goal of Herts3Cycle is to recycle, refurbish, and redistribute bikes. This is achieved through:

  • Donations. We work with Hertfordshire County Council's waste management team to collect unwanted bicycles from the local recycling centres. We also receive a limited number of donations from local residents
  • Repairs. The donated bikes are then assessed and repaired by the amazing volunteers at Hertford Men Shed who fully qualified to complete a bike PDI check and service
  • Collections. Once the bikes have been fully checked over, a member of Hertford Cycle Hub's team will be in contact with the individuals on the waiting list to let them know we have a bike ready for them

For further details on whether you qualify, how to apply or make a donation visit our website: Herts3Cycle, or email us on info@hertfordcyclehub.co.uk.
