Active Herts – Parkinson’s Power Class

A low-impact seated and standing exercise class focusing on improving cardiovascular fitness, functional strength, toning, balance, mobility, coordination, and posture. Working in partnership with Parkinson’s UK, Active Herts are delivering this weekly exercise class for residents living with the long-term neurological condition.

All the exercises will be tailored towards the participants’ own ability with regressions and progressions in place. The
classes help improve physical and mental health, plus it’s a great way to get out and meet others in your community
living with Parkinsons.

Who can use this service?

Broxbourne residents living with Parkinson's Disease (and their carers).  

The class is £5.00 a session (Carers go free)

How are services delivered?

Mondays 11.30-12.30pm
