We are a charity dedicated to providing the facilities for people with a wide range of disabilities, health conditions or anyone experiencing disadvantages, to enjoy boating on the river on our specially adapted canal boats. We provide the facilities for people with disabilities and special needs to enjoy boating on the river on our specially adapted canal boats. Hire our boats for a 4-hour day trip, with crew provided, immersing yourself in the beauty of the Essex and Hertfordshire countryside while exploring the River Stort.

Everyone has the opportunity to steer the boat and operate the locks, or simply unwind and watch the flora, fauna, wildlife and the world go by.

Who can use this service?
We recognise that all people have a range of abilities and whilst we do not employ a fixed definition of disability, our services are prioritised towards individuals or groups that would be unable to access a canal boat otherwise.
