Step2Skills: Community Learning and Adult Skills Training

Step2Skills offer a wide variety of courses for Hertfordshire residents aged 19+.Our offer includes accredited learning for those that would like to gain a qualification and short non-accredited courses and workshops. Subject areas include: English and maths (apply and we'll arrange a free online assessment) English for speakers of other languages (ESOL) ICT and digital skills,Family Learning Arts and Crafts for wellbeing Employability and work skills Health and Wellbeing

We're funded by the UK Government to deliver community learning courses for adults, young people and families across Hertfordshire.

We subcontract with delivery partners in Hertfordshire to deliver some of these courses on our behalf. Those learning providers are responsible for delivering courses to a high standard. We quality monitor provision to ensure it meets the requirements of OFSTED and the Education and Skills Funding Agency.

Courses we run are primarily low-cost in order to help improve the skills and wellbeing of people living in Hertfordshire.

We are able to run courses on demand, subject to availability of teachers. So, if you are part of a group of people that are interested in a course that’s just for you, please get in contact  to discuss your needs. (Minimum numbers apply)
