Hear4U: Bereavement Support: Grief Encounters

In partnership with Isabel Hospice, we provide an opportunity to meet and share feelings with others in a similar situation following a bereavement. The aim is that people don't feel alone in their grief, they can come and join others for a friendly, informal get-together over light refreshments. This is for anyone who is bereaved, whether they belong to a faith group or not. This is a face to face service.

  • Working with Grief Encounters in conjunction with Isabel Hospice we are offering a 6 week themed facilitated  bereavement peer support group.Loss and grief affects many people in many ways. The course is giving people a safe space ,to tell their story, express their feelings, and find support from others who may be going through similar experiences.
  • Open to anyone over 18yrs.
  • Course dates: Thursdays - 10am - 12.30pm - running on 20, 27 February and  6, 13, 20, 27 March 2025 -St Catherine and St Pauls Church (opposite Morrison’s), Paul’s Lane, Hoddesdon EN11 8TR
