Hertfordshire Mind Network: Peer Support Service
Our high quality 1:1 Peer Support Service is free of charge and is for adults who are struggling with their mental health and wellbeing. Peer Support is run by people who have overcome similar challenges to those you may be facing and for those who care for others. They will support you to work out ways that could make life easier for you and help you to build on your wellbeing.
The areas of support will be built around your needs, to support you with the areas that are most important to you. We can provide:
- Emotional support.
- Support to improve health and wellbeing.
- Support to access community-based services, activities and resources.
- Building life skills, confidence and self-esteem.
- Support to build social networks and reduce isolation.
Support is provided through: One-to-one support at our Wellbeing Centres in Bishop's Stortford, Broxbourne and East Herts, in the local community, telephone or via an Online Platform.
If you are an unpaid carer, you can access other carer support services via our website link - Services for Adults | Hertfordshire Mind Network (hertsmindnetwork.org
